Chiara Mattieson
Attorney at Law
Chiara Mattieson founded Mattieson Law, PLC in 2020, guided by the principle that legal services should be provided in a manner that is necessarily helpful to clients, not just a necessary expense.
Mattieson Law puts Chiara’s experience and skill to work for clients in a lean, agile, dynamic, and flexible framework that enables her to bring quality legal services and representation to a wider, more diverse client base and often enables her and her clients to see, and say “yes” to, strategies and solutions that may not have been identified or considered before.
Chiara is service-focused, knowledgeable, and honest. She started Mattieson Law in the midst of a pandemic and understands delivery of services in a straightforward manner that respects Clients’ time and resources, using technology like virtual meetings and solutions like flexible scheduling, is the way forward.
She welcomes transparency and wants people to understand legal processes and concepts.
In her time outside the office, Chiara is a dedicated horsewoman and is active in the community through nonprofit board service. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Detroit Sound Conservancy, a community-based archive dedicated to preserving, activating, and celebrating Detroit's musical heritage. Her past nonprofit board service includes serving as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Horses' Haven, a nonprofit horse rescue and sanctuary that she continues to support, and service on the Board of Directors of Zonta International Detroit Club 1, an organization focused on advancing the rights of women and girls locally and internationally. Chiara is also an active, positive presence in local, nonpartisan campaigns for county and state elected offices. Chiara is proud to be the owner and founder of her own law firm. As you may gather from her pastime choices, Chiara is brave and determined. She’s also passionate, compassionate, and has a great sense of humor and quick wit. Chiara knows what it takes to formulate and execute winning strategies and embraces and enjoys getting the work done. Contact Mattieson Law and find out what it’s like to have her work with and for you. |
